| Adam |
Adam Fletcher, President of CommonAction, and founder and director of The Freechild Project and SoundOut. Adam is an international advocate for youth and community engagement. His career working with young people and adults as a youth worker, educator, writer, and public speaker started when he was 14 years old. Since then he has created more than 50 youth projects in the United States and Canada, including the award-winning Freechild Project, focused on re-envisioning the roles of young people throughout society; and SoundOut, promoting student voice in schools. Adam has written more than 20 publications, and has worked with approximately 10,000 children, youth, and adults annually since 2001. Today, Adam lives in Olympia, Washington, with his eight year old daughter and their cat named Mailbox. Learn more about Adam at

Teddy Wright, CommonAction Consultant,
is an exciting facilitator and youth development specialist skilled in program development, implementation and evaluation, and a child advocate and community-builder. Supporting young people in communities, camps and schools from Boston to Miami, Teddy has lived in Seattle for several years now. His focus areas include ending men’s violence against women, children and other men, as well as catalyzing our children to trust their own greatness. He is determined to be a part of the movement to redefine our nation’s educational system as a leading trainer of Meaningful Student Involvement.

Scott Le Duc, CommonAction Consultant,
is a master teacher with more than a decade in the classroom at Capital High School in Olympia, Washington. As a career and technical
educator, Scott focuses on art and technology instruction, and also serves as adjunct faculty at Lesley University, City University, St. Martin’s University and Wuhan University of Technology. Scott's specialties include a variety of technologies, as well as Multiple Intelligences, great presentation techniques, brain research-based teaching philosophies and tools, and other relevant techniques to help people connect with people. Living a life of "relevant reverie," Scott enjoys effective education, powerful presentations, and collaborative communication, and believes in Gandhi's message, “My life is my message.” Learn more about him at

Mike Beebe, CommonAction Consultant,
has over 20 years of experience managing youth and adult leadership programs. Mike is passionate about partnering with young people to create positive social change. His experience includes managing JustServe AmeriCorps, a youth anti-violence program, TEEN LINK, a hotline for youth answered by youth, and serving on the Board of Directors for COLAGE (Children of Lesbians and Gays Everywhere), a national organization advocating for the rights of GLBT families.
